Jan Downes

Jan needed a photo of herself for her upcoming exhibition flyer. Within another breakneck week and only just enough time to answer this project call, I hope that we produced a good amount of material for her to choose from. My favorite part about photographing artists at work is being there for that rare snap, during a sustained period of skillful diligence when suddenly their face briefly lights up with a smile and all the elements come together.
